ARServices Adds Charles “Chuck” Litz as Operations Director for Research and Development Services

Experienced program director tasked with growing one of the company’s three core pillars of service.

ARServices, a leading management and technology consulting provider for the federal government, has named Charles “Chuck” Litz as Operations Director for the company’s core Research and Development Services division. Litz’s impressive career spans both the public and private sectors. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Captain while stationed at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), and has over two decades of program management and strategic planning experience in the government contracting and IT services markets.

Mr. Litz is joining ARServices to assist with the strategic leadership and growth of one of the company’s three core pillars of service – Research and Development Support Services in areas including – but not limited to – Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Enhanced (CBRNE) and medical technologies.

Mr. Litz’s responsibilities will include overseeing and servicing the company’s existing client relationships with government organizations and agencies, including DTRA, Defense Logistics Agency, the Naval Research Laboratory and National Institutes of Health. He will also be responsible for growing and expanding the company’s footprint both within existing customer engagements and across the rest of the federal government.

“ARServices is a trusted partner for many federal organizations that are looking for an  agile partner that is capable of delivering results and meeting mission requirements,” said Jay McCargo, President and CEO of ARServices. “The company’s reputation for success has helped drive its growth, and has resulted in the company’s decision to segment its leadership team to focus on its three core pillars of service. Adding Chuck Litz to the management team to oversee the company’s Research and Development Support Services pillar puts an experienced and seasoned veteran at the helm of a very important growth area for ARServices.”

The addition of Mr. Litz to the ARServices management team is anticipated to help accelerate the company’s already torrent growth, which has resulted in ARServices being listed on Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 List of the Fastest Growing Companies in America for two straight years.

Prior to joining ARServices, Mr. Litz served as a program manager for two $9.8M FMS case projects for the Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC). He joined ATSC following tenures at the Planate Management Group, Parsons Corporation, Sierra Nevada Corporation and Computer Sciences Corporation. Prior to joining the private sector, he served in multiple roles of increasing responsibility for DTRA’s Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) program. During his time with DTRA, he served as Program Manager for Biological/Chemical Weapons elimination, a strategic offensive arms elimination in Ukraine and as Executive Assistant (EA) to the CTR Director.
