ARServices, a leading management and technology consulting provider for the federal government and defense sectors, has named Larissa Hanpeter as the company’s new Director of Human Resources.
A rapidly growing private company that has been named to the Inc. 5000 List for the past three years, ARServices will rely on Ms. Hanpeter to meet the staffing and other human resources demands created by this expansion. In her role as Director of Human Resources, Ms. Hanpeter will be responsible for overseeing recruitment and retention initiatives, compensation, employee training and career planning.
“In a short period of time, ARServices has more than doubled its office space and the size of its staff to help meet the demand of new contract opportunities, and this growth has only accelerated in 2017,” said Jay McCargo, President and CEO of ARServices. “Larissa’s extensive experience at large organizations, where she was responsible for managing sizeable, geographically-distributed workforces makes her an excellent choice to address the human resources challenges ARServices will face as it continues to grow.”
Prior to joining ARServices, Larissa Hanpeter served as the Director of HR Shared Services for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, a non-profit charitable social services agency. In that role, she was responsible for managing benefits, payroll, compensation, HRIS and compliance operations for more than 80 locations, while also serving as EEO and Affirmative Action Officer.
Before her tenure with Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, Ms. Hanpeter held human resources positions with management and technical consulting firms, AAC, Inc. and Paradigm Technologies, Inc., and international telecommunications providers KeyBridge, Qwest Communications and LCI International.
