ARServices New Member of CWMD Consortium

Company engaging in new contracting vehicles to better support DoD Customers.

Alexandria, Virginia – May 30, 2018 – ARServices, a purpose-built government contractor and the contractor of choice for the government and defense sectors, was recently accepted into the CWMD Consortium. The CWMD Consortium was formed with the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) with a mission to allow agencies with a need to prototype new technologies related to Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD). The consortium contains a mixture of traditional and non-traditional members such as those in of academia, for-profit and non-profit entities and small businesses (such as ARServices) representing the types of expertise and capabilities required to respond to the needs of such a unique and critical mission-space.

ARServices was selected to become a member of the CWMD Consortium due to its impressive 15- year presence in the CWMD mission-space with customers such as DTRA and DHS CWMD. Other Transaction Collaborations or Other Transaction Authority (OTA) contracting actions streamline the federal acquisition process used to obtain new technological solutions from industry and academia while. This type of collaboration between industry (via the consortium) and the government allows for more open communication throughout the acquisition stage promoting speed and emphasizing engagement in ways that ensure the federal customer is delivered innovative and effective solutions.
