The National 8(a) Association’s 2019 Small Business Conference was held last week in Nashville, Tennessee marking ARServices CEO, Jay McCargo’s sixth time attending the event.
The three-day conference offered educational sessions, matchmaking, networking and resources for all small businesses including aspiring, current and graduate 8(a); HUBZone; SDVOB; VOSB; SDB, WOSB, and teaming partnerships.
“The National 8(a) Association conference is a great forum to stay up to date on legislative changes in the small business arena and to meet with government decision makers, large business primes, and potential small business partners. During the past six years, ARServices has participated and gained valuable insight that has helped our growth,” said Mr. McCargo.
Several sessions of interest included “Navigating the Financial Regulatory Agencies Acquisition Process” moderated by Ms. Marleitha G. Williams, and the “Agency Panel: Upcoming Opportunities Direct from Procurement Offices” moderated by Ms. Carey Webster.
The National (8a) Association’s mission is to educate and promote its members to further advance their level of experience and achieve a higher degree of success. The event attracted hundreds of federal agencies, large business primes, and corporate companies to provide multiple opportunities in one location to grow business in the federal contracting arena.
