As CFO, Mr. Ratliff is responsible for all financial activities of the company and provides strategic financial analysis and operational recommendations as a member of the Executive Management team. The systems he has implemented and his innovative financial and cash management recommendations and solutions have been instrumental in the company’s transition from the SBA 8(a) small disadvantaged business development program to a successful mid-sized Inc. 5000 Honor Roll corporation.

Before joining ARServices, he worked for both for-profit and non-profit companies. Mr. Ratliff started his professional career at Diplomatic Language Services, a provider of language services to government agencies, where he proposed, financed, and implemented a diversification and expansion strategy that increased revenue by 600%. After this success, he positioned and prepared the company for sale, researched and selected an M&A firm, and negotiated the terms and conditions of the eventual sale agreement.

Mr. Ratliff then served as the Vice President of Operations of Women in Community Service, a national social services non-profit, where he oversaw financial and administrative operations and provided strategic and financial planning that ensured programmatic outcomes and full cost recovery.

Mr. Ratliff returned to the for-profit sector as Corporate Controller of Defense Group, a $77 million government service contractor with both CONUS and OCONUS operations.

Mr. Ratliff holds a Master of International Business Studies (MIBS) graduate degree from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Virginia.
