Ron Fizer
Counter Threat Fellow
As a Counter Threat Fellow at ARServices, Mr. Fizer assists in leading and managing the corporate counterthreat portfolio with a focus on the CBRN mission space. He brings 36 years of experience in addressing Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) and chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) challenges for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS). His extensive expertise includes capability development, advanced development through test and evaluation, and strategic planning, which has been instrumental in helping Combatant Commands secure over $650M in additional funding to address readiness gaps.
Before joining ARServices, Mr. Fizer served in various pivotal roles, including Principal Director at the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Chemical and Biological Defense, where he led the integration of requirements generation, research and development, testing, and procurement for CBRN equipment and medical countermeasures. His leadership at the Army Test and Evaluation Command, U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, and other key positions has consistently driven advancements in CBRN readiness and operational capability.
Mr. Fizer has chaired the CBRNE Industry Group and served as Director of Programs for the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) CBRN Division, contributing to industry-wide collaboration and policy development. His extensive background and leadership ensure ARServices meets the complex needs of its clients in the CBRN domain. Mr. Fizer holds a Master’s Degree in National Security Resource Strategy from the National Defense University and a Master’s in Environmental Science Management from Jacksonville State University.
